![]() ![]() What seems to work best for me is using the 5/5 armsman perks, and then dumping a lot into conjuration, on the right side of the tree. I don't do a lot of power attacks, so I can swing a sword all day. My experience has been that my magicka runs dry pretty quick with any of the spells that actually do much damage. I would think about which one you want to be your primary, though. The menu button is effectively pause, so you can switch back and forth within only a few seconds game time. This will make going through the mage dungeon to get the star easy, and killing Malyn Varen inside the star even easier, so you can do it at an early level. Since you're Breton, if you take the Atronach Stone, you can activate the Breton Dragonskin power to get 100% magic absorption aka immunity. To help your enchanting go quickly, you should do Azura's Star from the get-go. You can use the Atronach Forge (through Conjuration) to eventually create your own Daedric armor, and use 4x pieces of Fortify Smithing gear to get it up to a decently high armor rating. What do you think about crafting skills? I think if you only choose one, it should be Enchanting. ![]() I think you should explore both conjuration lines before choosing perks in one or the other. I typically enjoy atromancy and Dremora Lords for their simplicity and power. ![]() After you get to Dead Thrall it becomes much more powerful, but I always felt like I was babysitting them, trying not to lose them and such. Most things in Skyrim resist Frost magic, and using necromancy over atromancy is more difficult at first, since you have to have a body to raise. If you don't mind, you can use the Perk Calculator at the top of the page and lay out which perks you think you'll take, that way it will be easier for us to give feedback for you. Something I got inspiration from was this build here: Character Build: The Necro-Knight - The Skyrim Blog ![]() You can google "death knight skyrim" or things along that line, and get lots of ideas to come up. ![]()
